Firebaugh Fred's June 26, 2010

Errol was ripping
The Hulk, don't get him angry.
Mattson killed it!
Me getting pampered after I split my eyebrow open trying to get the stairs barefooted. All photos by Jamie Camp!

Fred's was a blast! Epic sk8boarding, great food and of course plenty of beer. The product raffle went off and product was sold. Mattson took home the custom etched 40oz. beer for the gnarliest run. All profits went to Fred and his family. Thanks again to everyone who participated in this event.

The deck

It has been awhile since I built something new and posted it. I can't do a whole lot at once right now but every little bit counts, right? Well I finally finished the deck plus I extended it a couple of inches. The finish could have been better I guess that's what I get for waiting until 3pm to pour and working it into the night.

Here's a couple photos of Jamie Camp that I shot. The first one is at an abandoned apartment complex which has recently been destroyed due to a renovation project. The second if you don't already know is the legendary Firebaugh Freds. Freds has also taken a tragic blow recently due to a fire.
Usually Jamie is the man behind the camera getting down and dirty snapping epic photos of some gnarly pool skating or what ever else catches his eye. A great friend just all around good dude. You can checkout his work @

so close

but yet so far! I set the coping again and I'm still not happy with it. the problem is that the coping is too big for the qu. pipe or the qu is too mellow for the coping. either way it's a lot more fun with no coping at all but I'm going to leave it the way it is for now. next time I'm going to try my luck at hand forming it.
